Hi, I’m Regina! I’ve always loved to travel, but over the years, that love has turned into a mission to explore the natural wonders and cultural heart of the world around us.

My Mission: The 63 Park Challenge

I am currently on a journey to visit all 63 US National Parks. There is something so grounding about standing in our protected public lands, and I want to help you experience that same feeling. So far, I have explored 28 National Parks, and while they are all beautiful, Glacier National Park holds a special place in my heart. In fact, that stunning mountain view you see on my homepage is a photo I took myself during my time there.

50 States & Beyond

National Parks aren’t my only goal. I am also closing in on visiting all 50 states—I only have 6 more to go! Beyond the US borders, I’ve had the privilege of visiting 17 countries. Whether I’m in a different state or a different hemisphere, I am always on the hunt for two things: animals and local flavor.

One of my greatest joys is seeing animals in the wild. When I’m not traveling, I’m at home with my own “zoo”—two dogs and two cats who keep life very entertaining. You’ll also find me in the garden, in the kitchen cooking up something new, or out exploring local food scenes. To me, trying a region’s unique food and drink is the best way to truly understand its culture.

I started Roaming Regina to share the detailed itineraries and practical tips I wish I’d had when I started. I want to make it easier for you to plan your own adventures, find the best local eats, and discover the beauty of the outdoors.
